A blue band moves quickly across the sky.
From a distance and through the curtains
it looks like some strange phenomenon.
Moving to the window and lifting the nets
the scene becomes far clearer.
The sky is so black.
This blue band
being the only piece of blue sky
seen rushing through the clouds.
The trees are swaying vigorously
due to high, noisy winds.
The rain is falling heavily.
So glad I am indoors,
beside a warm fire,
in a home I love very much.
