Knocked-out tooth usually happen at the event of sports for adults. But, for children, it usually for the replacement of a permanent tooth.
What to do when knocked-out tooth happen:
1. Usually a knocked-out tooth result into a severe bleeding, treat the bleeding first by a direct pressure. You can use cotton or clean soft material to slow down the blood.
2. Save the tooth(it can be re-implanted, if it is done within the minimum time it happened)for adults. But, for babies you don't need to save it(in case you want it for memories).
3.Do not let the tooth dry out, do not rub the root surface. If it is contaminated, careful handling and gently wash it with a clean water, but expert suggest that milk is preferable.
4. You can put it back into the socket and hold it right there until the right medical assistant is available.
5. Dental medication must be done at once.
