Is there ever any reason to wear fur that you could give to an animal rights activist? Well maybe none that would instantly come to mind if wearing fur and coming face to face with an animal rights activist.
I was wearing a mink coat once and came face to face with an animal rights activist. My answer was simple!
I didn't buy the coat it was given to me by my mother who presumed I would never wear it because I am personally strongly against the trade, and she was just being a bitch in giving it to me. I wore it because some poor little creatures had died for it to be made so I couldn't stand to throw it away, plus it was a freezing day and to be honest there is nothing as warming as real mink to wear.
Occasionally I will wear the mink just to draw attention to it and make my almost silent protest against the fur trade in a really strange way this works!
