A look at how the Detroit Lions can improve their game

WOW! I was wondering when someone would bring this one up. But to sum it up, the Lions are potentially the worst sports franchise in the past half-century. Having double digit win totals for less than a half-dozens in that span, and only winning one playoff game solidifies my comments!

Despite having the most devoted (and possibly idiotic for continually supporting them)fan-base, the Lions organizations has done nothing in the past 15 years to shake this lack luster image of one of the few NFL teams to never have even reached the Super Bowl. The only thing the Lions can do to improve.

Although I'm one of the idiots, I'll be the first to admit that the Lions failure isn't the "lovable loser" type like the Red Sox or the Cubs. Those teams have been making strides toward improvement, yet have come short.

Everyone thought that moving back to Detroit from the Pontiac Silverdome would bring success, despite the fact that their Pontiac record was much better than their Detroit one. People thought that replacing a quarterback here, or a lineman there would solve their woes. NOPE! THE FORD'S NEED TO SELL! Their interests lie solely in the money involved. As long as they turn a profit, they're happy. They have no desire to spend a little more to make a little more because what they're taking in now is sufficient for them.

If the Lions are to have any success over the next half-century, the Fords need to do us pathetic, long-time fans a favor and sell the franchise!
