Curb appeal is very important when it comes to adding that wow look and value to your home. What is reflected on the outside, says a lot about what to expect on the inside of your home.

In this day and age of indoor and outdoor living more thought is being given to yards. Magazines, television shows, and books are loaded with suggestions and step by step instructions on how you can add that sought after appeal to your own home. Let the curb appeal of your home be the talk of the block.

Drive ways, and walk ways are taking new spins when it comes to adding to the interest of your home. Whether you use paver's, stamped concrete, slate, river rock, stepping stones, or flag stone how you design the layout can add hundreds of dollars to the value and appeal of you home. Just by lining your driveway and walkway with lighting can add to the overall welcoming feel of your home.

Do you find your windows and porches are peeling or in need of repair? If your windows and porches are outdated, try updating the look. Perhaps you can add a new coat of paint. Repair damages that age and weather have brought about. Could be you need to redo your porch and windows all together. Give some thought as to the style of your home and let your porch and windows reflect that style.

If your porch is big enough for furniture, find furniture that is comfortable. Add a porch swing, this will allow for extra seating, and also allows for hours of enjoying your outside living space.

Water features might be something you give thought to. These can be in the form of Koi ponds surrounded by water plants. Statues surrounded by running water, or simple little tiered copper buckets. Whether small or large, this adds to the overall appeal of your home.

If your home is overrun with bushes and an unkempt lawn, take the time to manicure it. Well trimmed bushes and lawns says a lot about how you view your home, and the neighborhood you live in. After all, how you maintain your home affects the value of your neighbors homes as well.

You don't need to spend thousands of dollars on your home to add curb appeal. Researching what you can afford and what will fit your home .

Let the outside of your home reflect the beauty of the inside of the home. Harmony within and outside adds to the beauty of your homes curb appeal.
