Great bed-and-breakfasts in England to visit in the spring

The first question to ask when choosing a bed-and-breakfast is 'Where do I want to go'?

England might seem small to anyone from North America, but there are many different places to visit, and all have their merits. Do some research first to see if there's anywhere you might be interested in.

There are so many B&Bs in England, so your best bet is to Google them and have a look around to see what's on offer - there are many nice ones to choose from. A major advantage of B&Bs is that they are usually family-run, and so you can ensure a personal and tailor-made service.

To help you out, I've compiled a list of some of the best B&Bs in England. The list is by no means exhaustive, and it is also personal opinion, so you may want to do your own research. I have not reviewed the B&Bs either, as there are so many to list, but the websites for each one are given, and a search on Google should bring up plenty of reviews.

I'm going to sort this by area, and give you 5 top B&Bs from each place. To give you an idea of the areas to which I'm referring, I'll also list some counties in that area.
