How to write your own Valentine's Day card

First off; writing a valentine's card yourself rather than just buying one with text in instantly makes it far more personal and special.
If you can, go one better and make a card!
Make it colourful and cheerful and include a picture of you or both of you together; basically something that will make them smile and if they ever feel down they can take a peek at the cards you've sent them over time. Trust me; it does miracles with cheering people up.

1. When you write the card; think about things that are personal to you. For instance jokes you share with each other that other people don't quite get. If you have a cute pet name for them, refer to them with that.

2. Write what you like and love about them. How they dress, their humour, how they can always cheer you up, what they do that makes you feel a million dollars, how they're a great listener and how they're a great kisser.

3. Be original with your phrasing. Don't just bundle a load of "I love you"'s into the card and hope for the best. Write things like "I'm the happiest guy/girl ever with you", "I love being with you", "You are my star", "You're incredibly important to me!" and so on. Go even further than that to seem more sincere.

4. Remember you don't have to turn it into a Corny' love note by simply listing everything you like about them. Inject some humour into it; lighten the mood slightly whilst still putting your point across that you love them.

Address the card with their name, underline it and put an X (kiss) underneath. It'll look stylish and meaningful both at the same time.
Give them the card in person, and watch them open it if you want to see their smile and eyes light up as you give them an amazing feeling.
