Everybody is different and there is no definitive guide to telling if someone likes you, despite how much you want to whine and cry about it. But here are some telltale things people do when they like you:
1. If they smile lots, and when they do their eyes close slightly so they get slight crows feet. You can tell if someone is genuinely happy by looking at their eyes!
2. If they came over to speak to you, or initiated conversation with you, then chances are they like you already.
3. If you see they are playing with their hair; it is almost a definite sign they like you.
4. If they keep nursing their drink or otherwise fiddling with things and looking nervous; they probably like you.
5. If you have a great and interesting conversation that could go on for ages.
6. If they complement your smell, clothes, taste in music, sense of humour and so on.
7. They ask for your number or way of contacting you.
8. They want to meet up again.
Remember to not only look out for these signs but do them yourself, as they will pick up on them naturally!
Now you've hooked the bait after realising they like you, don't let it get away by making brash assumptions that they don't like you for whatever reason or by letting them "Chase you" which actually puts people off. Just give them a call or arrange to meet up and go from there. Apply the 8 points again and see if they're still interested!
Good luck!
