I've seen the extreme makeover shows and all of the veneer ads on the internet. I was under the impression that veneers were as realistic looking as real teeth. Just better looking, nice and white and proportioned, just the right way to be super flattering on your face.
Being a tooth person, I wanted the best teeth possible and consulted with a cosmetic dentist. And he reinforced all of the above information which I already beleived.
I got the veneers and I don't think they look realistic. Now I notice whether peoples teeth are real or fake all the time. Have you ever thought there was something a little off with someones teeth? But you didn't put much thought into it because you don't really care. Well, guess what? Veneers. That's right they look fake, a lot of people have them, and a lot more keep getting them.
