Love fades for many reasons. I think like anything else if you don't keep doing it but add some changes to it, you lose interest. Although, you may still love each other and definite things about one another, it could simply be that it is just routine.
Relationships are hard enough now adays to keep strong and together. There are more divorces than marriages it seems. I think you have to communicate with one another. Be very clear about what you want, how you want it, and when you want it. Schedule dates with one another. As much as having to schedule time with your respective other doesn't sound romantic well, that is up to you to create the romance atomsphere.
Dress up in something naughty. Or heck don't dress at all. If this is not your regular routine try it, it adds some spice. Compliment one another. Add a note to their lunch or on the bathroom mirror. Draw a nice bath so as soon as they walk in the door they can relax. Schedule massages for the both of you.
I think just take time for one another and add some spice to it and love will always be there, if not that is what couples therapist get paid the big bucks for.
