Even though morality is completely subjective, in terms of sex, drugs and rock and roll the Internet brings with it a whole new wave of possibilities. Even as it opened up the avenue for information sharing the world over it opened up ten times as many avenues for transmitting immoral material. In fact any Internet used who surfs long enough is sure to encounter what some term as challenges to their morality. But is this such a bad thing? Is the Internet really changing people?
I see these things not as challenges but revelations. A person who represses their desire to commit vice or channels it into other areas simply does not know that there is more out there that they are interested in. I believe in giving people the most options possible regardless of my personal opinion of some of them. How do you know someone is a nonsmoker on a planet without cigarettes? How do you know a virgin hates sex? How do you know your lover is faithful if they have never been truly tempted?

What is a challenge to ones morality anyway. A priest walking into a party might be horrified at all the girls who are challenging his morality, when from their point of view they are just trying to party and have a good time. Whether you see something as a challenge or a simple choice is all a construct of your own mind. And if you feel challenged by something morally this symbolizes a lot of things. One, if it challenges you then obviously some part of you wants ot give in and indulge in it. Two,
This is an internal conflict that you are going to need to take care of within yourself. The Internet is not going to make your decision for you, it is just going to provide you with the opportunity either way, just like life. And that is all the net really is, some facsimile of life reflected back in two dimensions. And that is what frightens people who want to remain ignorant and sheltered to the pleasure oriented aspects of human nature, the fact that, whereas in life you might have to navigate some maze to fulfill your desires, on the Internet it is only a keyword away. Some people obviously do not really trust themselves and prefer to have a sort of governor on throughout their lives. When their parents are no longer able to provide it,
