A person should accept responsibility for his own work, especially when it is a job that has been done well.There are times when we do not want to accept responsibility for the work we have done, when it has not been done well,or when we want someone else to take the credit.
I had organized an exhibition a few years ago, where I had a done a lot to make it a success.However, I did not want to take full responsibility for the work, as I wanted to share it with the team, who had cooperated in making the exhibition a success.
When I write a story,article or poem, I certainly want to claim responsibility for my work, as it is my own creation,which I am proud of.Imagine Van Gogh refusing or Leonardo Da Vinci refusing to claim responsibility for the work they had done. We would not have given them the credit and they would have lived their life in obscurity.
Accept responsibility for your own work,as it is one of the best ways to judge your own success, and it is also one of the cornerstones of a successful and happy person. We all need to feel accomplished for doing something, by accepting responsibility for our work, as there are too many sad and depressed people around who feel useless, as they do not contribute to the world.
