RuneScape is a very popular MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game). It's made in Java by Jagex, which is a popular game creator and their logo stands for Java Gaming Experts, so RuneScape is trusted when it comes to internet safety.

Runescape doesn't require a PC with good graphics card and whatnot like many other games. It's made in Java and can be run in Low Detail on a computer with just 64 MB RAM and 300 MHz CPU!

It's very popular and has over nine million free players and just under a million members who pay for extra features. Compared to many other MMORPG games it's quite cheap to become a member at only 3.20 a month. The members also get what they pay for with many updates every week.

The user can customize their player, change their clothes, hairstyle and body. They can complete quests, train their skills, talk with other players, combat with other players and monsters. There are currently 23 skills to train. Many people claim that the game is addictive but some don't - it depends how interested you get into it. My personal experience in this game was good, until I got to quite a high level, then I got bored, but it took me a long time to get that far. It's not a game you can get far in a day, it's a game you could end up playing for years!

RuneScape is moderated very well with player mods in the game and forum mods in the forum. Trouble is usually dealt with appropriately and fairly.
