Kabbalah has been an absolutely amazing experience for me. I was raised in an Orthodox Jewish synagogue. The community I grew up in was predominantly Jewish. I searched and searched for what I believed was spirituality. In the early 90's,I began to attend a Religious Science Spiritual Center. I loved it and knew my life was to be spent searching for spirituality. I became a New Thought minister and kept studying and studying.
About three years ago I was invited to attend an introductory Kabbalah meeting at a New Thought Center. Dr. Michael Laitman from B'nei Baruch, in Israel spoke. My present teacher, Mike Kellogg was there. I listened and was not particularly moved, yet I found myself asking Mike, "If we wanted a class, would you teach it?"
And the rest is history. I find Kabbalah takes up where religion leaves off. It is a roadmap to assist in experiencing the purpose of Creation. All of the lessons and books and classes can be found on the BB website absolutely free. There are classes held on the Internet that are worldwide and forums to answer questions. If one wishes to donate money one can. If one wishes to not donate money, that is o. k. too.
What I love about Kabbalah, is that it is not about your philosophy. It is about each individual's experience. If I do not agree, that is o.k. It is not about agreeing. It is about experiencing.
What I have realized through Kabbalah, is that the only really important quest in life is understanding and living the purpose of Creation. We were not created to be teachers, doctors, and lawyers. There is a bigger picture that we have not yet seen.
That is why I have chosen the Path of Kabbalah.
