DVD BURNER
A DVD burner is a necessity if you buy a laptop. Every writer needs to store his/her documents on a safe place. In the first place they will store their documents on the hard disk but it is necessary to make a copy on a DVD or CD disk for security in case your laptop crashes or some files become damaged. It is important to check for upgrade possibilities; it has no sense to buy a laptop with the fastest processor, RAM of 3 gigabyte, a screen of 17 inch if you don't need it but it is necessary to check if your processor and RAM can be upgraded so you won't need to buy a new laptop within three years or even sooner.

It is a good idea to carefully check before you decide and you will enjoy your writing with your laptop. Keep in mind that prices always drop and don't look for the most expensive model, but rather buy the one which has the features you need.

There is plenty of choice in laptops for writers and it is important to outline your needs before you buy your notebook. Almost every brand offers laptops which are suitable for writers but I recommend Hewitt Packard (HP) because of its excellent quality and good customer service, but there are also many other good brands on the market for you to consider.
