The ideal way to ensure a perfect trip, is finding a compatible travel companion. Finding the person to travel with can be difficult, but as long as you use this method, you'll have the time of your life, and have someone to share those memories with.

First and foremost, you have to find someone that enjoys the same things you do. If you have a horrible fear of heights, you aren't going to want to follow your friend up the bungee jump ladder. If you enjoy long leisurely hours on the beach you need to find someone else who likes the same.

Ideally, your travel companion would have their own money, ideas, and can make decisions. There's nothing worse than the question, "Where would you like to go?" Only to be answered with, "I don't know." or having to fork over money for two every time you do something.

If you're staying in the same hotel room, you've got to make sure that you can sleep in the same room with this person without driving each other mad. If they snore and you are a light sleeper, you may not get much sleep on your vacation. If you're a neat freak, and your friend leaves their towels on the floor, you may get frustrated at picking up after them.

There are many, many factors when trying to find your travel companion. As long as you know what you are getting into before you depart, you should be fine. Good luck and happy travels.
