I have been a military personal trainer for the last 3 years, and I have been an advocate of healthy living and exercise for much longer. Through my training, I have seen a great deal of methods for losing weight fast, gaining weight, and maintaining weight. I have had to get people to lose upwards of 40 pounds in a single month in order to stay in military service. So, I know what it can take to lose weight and how much dedication is required if you are truly going to achieve your results. The hardest part is finding the right information to get you there.
Since becoming a military personal trainer, I have devoured book after book on dieting, strength development, and weight reduction in hopes of being able to help out those that alone are unable to help themselves. I have the ability to save a soldier's career, if I have the proper knowledge to help them lose the weight, so I do whatever I can to ensure that I know as much as humanly possible.
One of the most recent books that I read through was Ultrametabolism : The Simple Plan for Automatic Weight Loss by Mark Hyman.
