The decision to breast feed or to use formula is totally up to the mom. Either or is acceptable. I was very gung ho to try breast feeding because I figured that it wouldn't be a problem for me. Was I ever wrong. This was one of the hardest tasks that I have ever tried to achieve. I thought that it wouldn't be a problem for me because I am pretty endowed in that area. Unfortunately, size doesn't matter. I had such a hard time breastfeeding that there were nights that I sat up and cried out of frustration.
My husband and I went through four different types of formula before we found the right one for our little Kahlan. We started her on normal Enfamil. Unfortunately, she was throwing up most of it and crying hysterically. We thought that she might have a touch of colic. So we then tried Enfamil for babies with fussiness and gas.
This formula also did not work. She was more fussy and had more gas than with the previous formula. She was miserable and would get the worst air bubbles. The next formula we tried was the Price Chopper store brand. This worked great for a while. Then she started throwing up again.
We finally found our saving grace which was Good Start with Comfort Proteins. This is the best baby formula on earth and the only one that she can keep down. This formula is made completely out of whey protein and the comfort proteins ease her stomach. Also, for any moms that are looking to save money on this wonderful formula go to this website:

Every month I get two coupons for $11.00 off a 32-ounce can of powdered baby formula. If you buy it at Walmart it's normally about $20.00 a can. With the $11.00 coupon I only spend about $9.00 for an enormous can of baby food. Knowing about how fast my little one goes through baby food, over the course of a year you can save over $300.00 on baby food it's so wonderful. VeryBestBaby also sends you wonderful booklets on your baby's growth and mew milestones. Every new parent should visit this very informative website.
I believe that mom should choose what is best for them. Breastfeeding for myself was a chore. If it works for any of you then go for it. I am now a strong believer in formula. The plus side of formula is that dad can help too. Good Luck and God Bless.
