In regard to online surveys I have joined several of them.I have to fill up a lot of my details from my name and address to my family income and my patterns of expenditure. As the number of surveys increase I find that I have to fill up a number of forms with my personal details. The companies state in their agreements, that the information given to them will not be misused or sold.
However,I have realized that this is not true, as I usually get the tell-tale signs that my information has been sold for marketing purposes, when I start to receive spam mail in my email Inbox, sales telephone calls and a lot of junk mail in my mailbox.
I would personally suggest that it is better to keep away from Surveys, as it is the best way to feel safe and secure.Instead of setting up programs on your computer to prevent Identity theft, when you are voluntarily distributing information of a personal nature for FREE to any scamsters or crooked corporations, simply keep away from all commercial surveys.
