My tears are frozen,
I cannot cry,
My heart is broken,
I cannot deny,
For i do not cry.
I walk for miles,
To where I'm unsure,
Keeping out of the sun,
My tears will not thaw,
For i do not cry.
I stumble on the ocean shores,
Its waters at my feet,
I trip and fall flat on my face,
But i wont admit defeat,
For i do not cry.
I carry on my journey,
But i come to a brick wall,
I turned to face the other way,
Surprised at what i saw,
The calm blue waters in the moonlit sky,
shone its reflection to my eyes,
I couldn't believe the sight i saw,
Tears rolling from my very eyes,
I had to face the truth at last,
I had to finally believe,
I had to know what he did wasn't my fault,
I had to allow myself to grieve,
For i now could cry.
