The dark side of teens

Teen years might sound very drastic and scary but it really it doesn't have to be. All you need is to have the right tools where you can challenge your daughter staying out till late and your son coming home drunk in the middle of every 'Friday Night'.

All teenagers want is a bit of freedom, most parents today will ask their child to come home before it get's dark or will not allow their child to go out at all. This will make most tenagers uneasy and want to lash out but all you need is to come up with an alternative. A very good alternative to drinking with the childs friends. So you should offer another range of activities for example bowling nights but be prepared to get a mouthful back but just remember you are the boss and this is your house and your word is gold.

In fact 60% of teenagers stay out till late and do not want to go home till it is late. You might want to let them go out once in a while which is absolutely fine but not all the time.

Some teenagers cannot hack the word NO GOING OUT and in some cases teenagers do run away, which you must not let happen because once they do run away they then find it easier to run away the second time and so forth.

If teenagers to get out of hand then you should introduce some ground rules. Where you won't allow them to go out for a week. This way next time they will listen more and back chat less. However it could also go wrong but try to keep thiings under control and do not always raise your voice that provoke the teenager to do so too.

Let's just say you win some you lose some ut my final word of advice is that if you respect them then they will respect you.
