Poetry: Lend a hand

by James Mallon

Created on: February 22, 2012   Last Updated: February 23, 2012

There maybe times you have a need,
No path to follow, no light to lead,
So give some help, right from the start,
Enclose the world within your heart.

Don't place no rules, or expect rewards,
Our false friends can be found in hordes,
Just be as kind, as you think fair,
You'll find that others have more to share.

No reasons why, no terms to make,
To give a friend a welcome break,
Just give your heart, don’t make a stand,
To give someone a helping hand.
