First off in response to: If Buddha is a God why is he rotting in the ground? Buddha (Siddhartha Gotama) was not a God, nor did he claim to be. He was a man who taught a path to enlightment from his own experience.

Religion is a matter of blind faith and there is no reason to disrespect other religions because you are not very educated on the subject.

1. There is no true historical evidence of Jesus. the archaeological record of the world and the Bible do not match up. The Bible is a record of Middle Eastern and Roman history. If it was the "Word of God" it would tell of the history of the entire world not just a small part.

2. The 4 gospels of Jesus were written by Mark around the year 70, Matthew and Luke followed a decade or two later, and John was written in the last decade of the first century. None of these people even knew Jesus, nor where they alive as the same time as Jesus to write anything about him. Where did they get their information? They probably researched his life and came up with the same stories. Even the genuine letters of Paul contained very little material about Jesus as a figure of history, his teachings or his deads.

3. Since the finding of the gospels of Mary and Thomas, and the gnostic gospels, it is evident that a prophet named Jesus lived during this time frame, and it is highly likely that the Jesus myth like so many other Roman, Greek and other world myths have endured to this day.

4. Jesus never claimed to be God. He claimed to be the son of God the Father.

So you see,once again, religion is a matter of blind faith, if it makes you feel good and lead a better life to believe in Jesus then by all means do it. But do not be unchristianlike and disrespect other religions when there are a lot of inconsistances in your own.
