The first candidate who can honestly and sincerely convince voters that he/she will actually stand up for America and it's people, will eventually be selected as one of the best presidents ever.
Unfortunately, that candidate will probably never get past the primary.
The current mantra of all leading candidates is globalization, amnesty for illegal immigrants, and improving global relations via taxpayers 'donations'.
Whether Republican or Democratic candidates win, it is the American people who end up footing the bill for American intervention, subsidized living for illegal immigrants, and US companies that 'migrate' their jobs to other countries.
Pork barrel spending in the most recent legislation is $24 billion. That comes out to $80 for every single man, woman and child in the US, and gets the vast majority NOTHING.
The only way we are ever going to stop this waste is to elect a President who actually cares for Americans and who is willing to stick up for American interests rather than subsuming our country to the will of the world.
