Living a nightmare,
Brer Rabbit, Brer Rabbit that is me,
Tar Baby, Tar Baby, that is you,
You beat and abused me,
I escaped, I was free, I was happy,
You swore revenge,
You turned me into Brer Rabbit stuck to the Tar Baby,
I was about to be married to the sweetest man I ever knew,
You had made your dream come true,
My husband's ex-wife was where you hid the knife,
I married the man of my dreams,
You married her for the money you helped her steal,
Now I'm living a nightmare,
Brer Rabbit stuck to a Tar Baby,
I'll be alright, I see the a light at the end of my tunnel,
Brer Rabbit will be free of Tar Baby,
You just wait and see,
I'll be laughing, you'll be crying,
Because you see I'll always be a sweet little bunny,
You'll always be the sticky, nasty Tar Baby you've always been,
But you won't win,
You be living the nightmare all by yourself with no one to set you free!

Poetry: Living in a nightmare
I once was free,
Now, with each beat of my heart,
Dreams of the past are tormenting me,
Prodding away at the sensitive
A little blue car is driving on a holiday,
Snow is falling mixing with the slush on the highway.
The little blue car begins
The worst bad dream is the one you have after you wake up
It may end when you sleep providing brief respite from the ordeal
by Jon Coe
Drenched bed clothes tangled around my leg
Contorted pillows strangling my every beg
Pitted mattress, swallowing me whole
Living a nightmare,
Brer Rabbit, Brer Rabbit that is me,
Tar Baby, Tar Baby, that is you,
You beat and abused me,
I escaped,
