Scouting Report from Elysian Field (A Poem in Tribute to Joe Paterno)

"Heaven's going to have a hell of a team", the Angels' GM revealed
during a press conference held this week at Heaven's Elysian Field.
"Last season ended in heartbreak, " he said, "we lost the Afterlife Bowl
when the Inferno from Hell kicked a game-winning field goal"
"But this will be our year!" he declared, "For a champion team we've contrived,
And there hasn't been such excitement here since Vince Lombardi arrived."
"We've got Red Grange and Nagurski- a balanced running attack-
There's Crazy Legs Hirsch as receiver, and Otto Graham at quarterback"
"But after last season's defeat, we had a serious matter to broach,
To defeat the nefarious Inferno, we need the right man to be coach."
The Angels searched far and wide to find the cream of the crop,
The final piece of the puzzle who could lead them to the top.
All the reporters held their breath while the Angels announced their choice,
the chairman walked to the podium and said, in a satisfied voice,
"We've finally found the man whom we believe can whip the Inferno:
The new head coach of the Angels, the legend, Joe Paterno"
