I will not be silenced
As long as there are stories left to write,
As long as there are poems to recite,
As long as there’s a wrong we need to right,
I will not be silenced.
As long as there are thoughts we need to share,
As long as there is hatred and despair,
As long as there is suffering anywhere,
I will not be silenced.
As long as some grow fat upon their greed,
While all about them others are in need,
As long as there’s a hungry mouth to feed,
I will not be silenced.
As long as men cry out in vain for peace,
And pray with all their hearts for war to cease,
Until love for one another doth increase,
I will not be silenced.
And when I go and leave this world behind,
Upon some written pages you will find,
My message, filled with hope, for all mankind,
I will not be silenced.

Prior to what you assumed
Doom awaits
by Sierra White
When things go wrong,
And love turns to hate,
When my enemies persecute me,
I will not be silenced.
When the world turns from
I will not be silenced
I will have my say
I will not meet indifference
I will have it my way
Silenced I will not be
My voice
