Why is it important to have chemistry in a relationship?

Your eyes meet from across the room and you just know that you've got to get to know that person better.

Positive Chemistry or Animal attraction is necessary in every relationship. It is the glue of the arranged relationship. It is far more than a conversation; it is the thing you can't quite put your finger on when you first meet someone. It gives all of the reasons why you want, no need to stay in this person's presence.

It is not to be confused with lust, which is a very different animal and Lust is a wild, vibrant dance wrote with lots of jumping and gyrating of hips. Chemistry is a slow dance. If you follow its instructions you will find that you are able to do all things correctly.
It tells you how to romance the object of your attention or that your new friend will understand your need to wear that cape.

Please don't analyze it down to chemical reactions in the brain. While it is all of that, the fun is in allowing the chemistry to guide you along the path to a true sincere relationship.

Another way to describe chemistry is to say "you click". It can also lead to successful relationships that are not romantic. Chemistry is what draws groups of people together. It is the reason why you reject or choose people to be friends with. It is the foundation of monogamy and the lack there of can lead to divorce, no matter what the relationship.

Sadly Chemistry appears to have a shelf life. It can be maintained and last seemingly forever OR it will seem to just fade away. More often than not, the fading happens when Lust is mistaken for chemistry. Chemistry can effect  love relationship, friendships, work place partnerships and even your favorite Football team!

Negative chemistry dictates who will not be in your inner circle of friends. Negative chemistry causes arguments and fights. You must understand that chemistry is always working in the background no matter what the relationship. It helps when choosing a pet, also.

Chemistry is what allows some people to never know a stranger. It alerts you to move away from a dangerous person or tells you it's okay to hold a conversation with a person in line with you.

We learn to allow chemistry to dictate to us when we are very young. It is why children are so very open. They are containers of pure unguarded chemistry. It is at this level that parental guidance is needed to help navigate the flow of the chemistry. Good foundations here are priceless!
