10 years later.
An older and wiser Jessica, dressed in a little black dress, was drinking champagne for two. If Scott was still alive, today it would be their 10th anniversary.
Fate had other plans though. She and Scott separated just a few hours after their wedding, 10 years ago. She remembered everything as it was yesterday. They were at their house, celebrating with friends. She was wearing the same little black dress; now a little tight for her. He was wearing a blue suit. They were dancing as the song ''It is Now or Never'' was playing in the background. They didn't know they were actually saying goodbye to each other. They didn't know Scott's heart would suddenly stop beating right after the song ended.
Tears rolling down her cheeks, Jessica squeezed Scott's blue suit. She never washed it. She wanted to keep Scott's scent. She could still smell him. Now, more than ever.
She closed her eyes as waves of pain started overwhelming her. No, she wouldn't collapse. Not today. She promised Scott last night, when he came to her dream. She promised him that today, she would finally let him go. It was the only way for him to be in peace. it was the only way for her to be in peace.
In slow motion, she put Elvis's CD in the CD player and pressed the play button. ''it is Now or Never'' started playing. Jessica, in that little black dress, started dancing by herself. Her eyes closed, but she could clearly see Scott's face smiling at her. She clearly felt his hands caressing her little black dress, she clearly heard him whispering ''I love you'' in her ear. And then she clearly saw him leaving her to follow a path of bright light.
