Ghosts of the Titanic
An old Norwegian tells his story,
Fishing on the northern seas,
Of violins in all their glory
Wafting on the gentle breeze
Of a ship he has heard often,
One that sunk amidst the ice,
But the screams were sadly softened
By the players' sacrifice
A lively tune played out with vigor,
Not some drowsy, sad refrain
The conductor stood, a mighty figure,
Resolute is his disdain
Mocking death in one last fury-
An audience was left to please
The band still plays in all its glory
For those who fish the northern seas.
