Poetry: Hard to deal with

by Darrell E Phillips

Created on: January 21, 2012

This hand of mine
Too many years reaching
For the wrong type of courage
The liquid kind
Now it just trembles...
In this game of life
I was dealt some great hands
So many times I might have won
But each time I played it wrong
Sorry dear
Will you take this turn for me?
This darn hand of mine
It's just too hard to deal with
I just can't hold the cards anymore
