Lost & alone
So many people around,
they all love and care for me,
and yet I still feel lost alone at times.
It's not that I am lonely,
I don't mind being alone,
it's the being alone with my own thoughts,
that frighten me.
I wake up in the mornings, go about my day,
I fall asleep in the night,
only to wake up and do it all over again.
There has to be more than this,
it has to get better than this.
Walking aimlessly down the street,
not really knowing what I am doing,
or where I am going....

Bright lights humming in the night,
Waiting for news that will give me a fright.
Doctors come and doctors go,
No one stops
