There are lots of tourist spots in Indonesia, one of them is Bali. Bali is a beautiful Island for people to experience not only the breathtaking beaches and landscapes but also the unique cultures influenced by Hinduism. The white sand beaches, the mountain views, the rice terraces, the temples, the dance, the handicraft, the food, and the people will give an unforgettable memory.
Most of the people in Indonesia do not speak English but people in Bali speak conversational English. Communicating with the local people in Bali would not be too difficult. The people are friendly too. They love people from other countries. Balinese pray and burn incents as some of the practices in Hinduism. Incents and a basket of offerings could be seen in front of their houses, on the streets or on their cars.
The hotel options in Bali are abundant. The price range from the most expensive to the cheapest and most of the hotel information is available online. There are many tourist agencies to visit. They can assign a tour guide, rent a car or a motorcycle and they can take you to the small islands in Bali with their boat. Bali also has wide variety of activities to do.
Kuta is the place to go surfing, scuba diving, walking along the beach, clubbing, shopping, and finding some good western food. The town could be a very interesting or boring place. The crowds and pollution in Kuta could also be a turn off for some people. Ubud is a more quite place to visit. It is about an hour drive from Kuta. Ubud is quite clean and has some beautiful rice terraces. Riding a bike around Ubud is really fun to do. And the climate is not as hot as it is in Kuta. There are also some restaurants offering some great traditional Indonesian food. Ubud offers some amazing handicrafts too.
Tanah Lot is one the famous places with beautiful sunset. The Sunset can be enjoyed from the cliff or from the beach. Mount climbers must visit Mount Batur. It is a volcanic mountain surrounded by a lake. The best time to climb is in the morning to see the gorgeous scenes from the top of the mountain. Kecak Dance is a very famous dance from Bali. The 100 dancers use their vocal chords to accompany the dance; they do not use any music instrument. They dance and act out the Ramayana. They chant and they are surrounded by lots of fires. Ulu Watu is the place to see this dance and they start at 6:00 P.M.
There many more to do, a week in Bali would not be sufficient. A very well planned trip is necessary to visit Bali, Indonesia.
