the dog is small, and less than a year old, there were not much of a problem.
Every year, I bring my dog for vaccination and deworm. Through the years, I learned how to take care of the dog - grooming, feeding, training etc. Training is difficult. It needs consistency and patience. He was so smart. When prompted with the gesture of a 'gun', Cebest knew on to lie dead on the floor. Then he would be rewarded with food. He was so cute and clever!
With animals, a lot of times they are very similar to children. My dog is just like another of my kid. I have to teach him how to behave and I have to look after his welfare. I shower him with love. I cane him when he was disobedient - when he urinate at the sofa and things like that.
Like most things, starting is always hard. My dog had to be toilet trained and it was not a one to six months thing. It took him nearly nine months to a year to be perfect. By one and a half year, he was able to walk round the house and knew every corner of the house. By one year old, he was big enough to jump about. By this time, he was able to jump on my bed too. He never failed to sleep with me.
All good things come to an end. And all life comes to a halt some day. Little did I know that by bringing him to the third year vaccination, that would cost us more than just spending money. After the vaccination, Cebest's health deterioriated and his behaviour was abnormal. It worries me. And soon everything happens very fast, and he was gone forever. He left me and my family. I have written about his death on my blog http://peace-diary.blogspot.co m/ and http://whoispeace.blogspot.com /.
My dog, Cebest, as the name was given, is really the best dog I ever had. Till this day, though he was gone, memories of him and my love for him never die. It is something that no other dog or pets can replace.
