YouTube (www.youtube.com) is the biggest, free video community on the internet (and they'll accept many different video file formats up to 100MB in size). When you sign up you'll get your own customizable channel page for your videos. You'll have the ability to subscribe to other people's videos and others will be able to subscribe to yours.
There are many similar sites to YouTube, some of which will even pay you for your videos. It's well worth searching around depending upon the kind of videos you want to make.
Video sites like YouTube are sometimes known as 'viral video' sites. This means that they are designed to make video sharing easy. Once you post a video and make it public it could be shared across hundreds of video sites, in peoples blogs and more. A popular video has the potential to earn you a lot of money on a video site that pays its video contributors.
[NB: At the time of writing this article YouTube had announced that it intends to pay video contributors for their content but no details have been released. It's likely that they may follow a similar model to other sites that share advertising revenue.]
Hopefully this article has given you some insight into the world of video blogging. Just like written blogs, what you video blog about is entirely up to you. The internet is a very big place and there is always someone who will be interested in what you have to say. So get vlogging!
