Just hearing the name Clinton, one can't help but to look back in time to a roaring economy and 8 years of peace. I'm unenrolled to a party. I do lean towards Democrats on most issues. Peace is always better than war for human-kind. Diplomacy should be the ultimate goal towards the entire world. It really never should come to war unless somebody bombs you unprovoked or threatens to.
Okay, okay, so back to Clinton. The name makes me feel good and want to give her my vote. But not so fast. Voting for a name and not knowing a persons stance on something is a waste of a vote and irresponsible as an American, especially in an age with so much infomation available to us.
So I went and looked for her stances on issues, and I encountered one problem immediately; Hillary Clinton is running on her issues, and the country has ITS issues. While she states yes and no about the issues of the war and immigration, she's very vague on these subjects.
And then I thought, what if she's working hard at it and wants to say as little as possible about it until she has a full assessment of the situation so she doesn't blunder about it? Sounds like a sound strategy to me if she could pull out a masterpiece of a plan at the end of the race. I think she'd win if she did that, hands down.
Her forte in politics is for human services; like healthcare, education, and such. And she works very hard at those issues, and she's a very intelligent woman. For her to get my vote, all she has to do is give me a plan on my issues that is realistic.
Her strong point is not war. For her to succeed, she needs to surround herself with some diplomatic-brainiacs to devise the scheme; her husband Bill is pretty good with that deed, it just so happens.
Will Hillary Clinton be the next president? Maybe; I think America grew up during this war. They ARE open to any person with a plan regardless of skin color or gender, I think. Hillary Clinton is qualified and just has to answer a few questions for many. And as I look around the internet, America is paying much better attention to what is going on in this world, and I'm at least proud of that.
