Making money on-line is much like a treasure hunt for pirates gold. You may find a few gems but the gold is no where to be found. There are a few ways to make a bit of pocket change on-line but as far as I can see it is virtually impossible to make a real living. Where can you make this pocket change? There are actually a few sites I myself use. These sites pay but they do they do pay little and the earnings are very slow.

* Ebay: This company offers the worlds largest on-line auctions. The trick is to stay in the loop on what is selling and what is not. If you can get a great deal on a "hot" item in record time Ebay is a great way to earn cash. You can also use Ebay to clean out the attic,basement, or garage but do not expect to earn record amounts of cash from your old used junk. This earning idea will require research and time to really pay off.

* Helium Knowledge: The site you are right now on is the best site I have found for making money on-line. Helium is growing and improving attracting more lucrative publishers and writers alike. If this continues earnings will continue to grow! The site is fun if you enjoy writing so it is more like a hobby than a task to earn on the site! The site is totally free to join and use as an added side note and bonus. Helium requires a bit of time to really see earnings and a bit of work to write quality articles.

* Inbox Dollars: This site pays you to read your email. The earnings are painfully slow. It takes quite a while to reach cash out but if you reach it they do pay. Do not be fooled by their so called referral program I have referred a few people only to see my earnings start and then stop from them reading their emails. What you earn here will be what you click on yourself.

* Survey Spot: This company sends surveys to your email. Some of the surveys pay but many times they are for chances to win something in a drawing. Yes, you guessed it a drawing that as of present date I have never once won though I have been a member for years. The site also will occasionally send you a product to try in your home. If you get these surveys you commonly get a new product to keep and a small incentive if you do the follow up survey to let them know what you thought about the product.

* Pine Cone Research: I absolutely love this site! They are the most legit survey company I have ever encountered in all my years of research. They send a few surveys a month and will pay your five bucks for the ones you complete. This site does not have referrals and finding their link can be a bit tricky. Locating their link is the only way to join their panel. On-line survey forums sometimes post the link but you have to hurry because once pinecone gets wind it has been published it becomes inactive and is moved somewhere else.

These are a few of the places that I know pays their members a small bit for their time. If you are looking for a real job chances are you are not going to find it on-line. The hard truth of the whole matter is that you can make money on-line it just isn't much money. If you don't enjoy writing or giving your opinion making money on-line can be a pain in the hiney for you. Once you see your account start to show a balance you will get excited but don't get too carried away because time will pass quickly as you watch it grow. I am not talking a few hours or days, I am talking weeks, months, and even years! If you have the patience you can enjoy putting your ideas in and making a bit for your time, other than this you are pretty much wasting your time trying.
