Wishing for quiet, oh what bliss,
for in this noisy world we miss
the tranquil settings waiting there
empty beaches and fresh air.
The noises of today are pollution
and there is no easy solution,
to getting peace and quiet around,
places where there is no sound
But they are there if one looks
in the crannies in the nooks,
the mountain valleys the flowing streams,
this is the stuff of natural dreams.
The rustling of the grasses
the wind blows soft and clean
the silent craggy mountain passes
wishing for peace is theory only for classes
