Just sitting back and thinking I wonder if this world has gone to deep into a black hole. No way of getting out. Does society even care about the problems around us. Are we so greed stricken that if something so immoral is going on we don't do anything to solve the problem if the profit gained is less then the expenditures.
Our world is burning up at a fast rate and the United States doesn't care because of the cost to business it would have if other fuel sources were found. We attack Iraq, partly on morality issues, but we do nothing for Africa. Are we just waiting for them to destroy themselves so we can have dibs on the diamonds, oil, and other profitable devices it has, or is it we are so concerned with our own country we pay no attention to what is going on in the world.
If a murder is in progress and a person does nothing to stop it he/she is an accessory to murder. So in a sense our government and governments of the world are preparing a genocide never known to this planet. It is not an extermination of certain races, certain religions. It is an extermination of life. Why do we ignore global warming, and war torn nations. By not addressing these issues we are the cause of the problem. Not just the governments but every person with the ability to help is a accessory to murder, genocide, disease, starvation, and the destruction of a planet.
If certain nations in Africa do destroy themselves, I doubt anyone will feel guilt in there heart, but they should. These are living breathing people. In our WORLD today it is impossible to keep up with the times living on a national bases. Mexico is no longer just a nation, they are neighbors to the south. If civil war broke out America would send troops right away. Unfortunately not to help them, but to help ourselves. Greed is the only explanation I can think of why Africa has not received the help it needs, and other problems have not been addressed. I know many people are giving money to help, but something isn't working because the problems still exist. We are trying to solve new problems with old solutions. In fact all we do is try to fix a problem with the same problem. Greed. We try to fix a problem caused by money with more money. Would you throw fire on a fire to put it out. Humorous when you look at from an ironic point of view, but despicable when you put it in to perspective.
There are so many problems in this world that is obviously stated, but even these problem is only a part of the equation. The other
