In love of life I was above my head and beyond sensibility.
Nothing could make me love him more.
I really did not think he just wanted to score some more.
For there were things beyond that.
I did not only soar with the birds but saw he did not soar but score.
I hung on his thoughts and words for his closed door.
Then life kicked in to face what I saw.
I had to remember to face it.
And saw I was a sin.
There was a such thing as perfection
So what is it worth that it was not me?
May all the sins he sees involve and invoke Jesus in him and me.
All things above me went below me.
Facing life is a challenge.
No longer do I go blindly.
For the life I face will give me God.
He is my staff and rod.
For this is a speck in time.
I am miniscule to all those I face.
A speck in time and God.
It is not fair to call it a race.
But I will take in the breath of His life.
I will face the life I face.
For we are all equal when free of sin and strife in this case.
My mouth will again know the sweet nectar taste.
It is life.
I will face it.
Nothing can erase it.
Just brace it!
