Nothing
What fools we have been
a society that can no longer grin
our hearts can no longer beat
for our country may be in defeat
wish I could stop the Jobbers
their just filling up our Harbors
where up high hangs our flag
It use to sway and not sag
we can have a country proud
If we all yell out loud
to stop the gestures and get to work
we do not care about the politician who has been a jerk
stop the bash and the ongoing slash
put our country back on track in a flash

Poetry: Nothing
by Terrence Aym
I am the master of nothing,
In a city that doesn't exist,
In a land that never was,
Yet as no one I persist.
I am the master
by Steven Spad
I could always be right
win ever argument and fight
but if I don't gain love
I gain nothing, I gain nothing
I could know it
Nothing needs to be said
When in life I am dead
No obituary need be read
About the good or evil I spread
For there is nothing
by Toney Eugene
Nothing
The seconds go by and my life slips away
Drifting into an eternal darkness which begins today
The beating of my heart
Nothing is only ever just bluffing.
Nothing sits for too long on its ride,
so tired of doing nothing, left untried.
Nothing
