Mother nature sways from whimsical
amber, brown, red and gold hues of
fall to pure, serene, snow white for winter wonderland;
It's about time;
frosty, the snow man and elves are getting dressed up
for the special season of hope and peace,
Saint Nick, Santa Claus is saddling up
with mysterious gifts for children and adults with wings of imagination
It's about time;
2011-year of tsunami, earthquake and tornadoes,
loss of the loved ones
Soldiers gone, but not forgotten;
the end of a an old year journey trail,
the beginning of a prosperous peaceful new year
It's about time.

Poetry: It's about time
by Jon Coe
When I fell asleep holding you in my arms
This fair land had been divided into farms
I had nurtured and tilled with my bare
It’s about time
That I got up,
On my feet,
And off my butt.
It’s about time
I show up,
Singing loud,
And walk my strut.
It’s About Time
(Dec 20, 2011)
I’ve learned from those bitter journeys
I’ve walked in fogs of deafen scorns
It’s about time
To start owning up
Start growing up
Actualize those dreams of yours
Believe in yourself
Offer forgiveness
The world spins too slowly
humming ever so lowly
waiting for the world to wake
Waiting for reasons to make
A world no longer
