The days get longer when you’re in love.
Seconds are no longer staccato ticks or tocks - they’re legato notes in andante.
Minutes, hours, days, all meander by like eternity - a comfortable walk with a stop at every bench.
You used to hate how time seemed to drag on and on, and you used to wish that time would go by faster, especially whilst sitting in a dull bio lecture.
But you’ve since forgotten those wishes - you’ve never felt so comfortable in this ambling pace before, and you really don’t even realize how long the days have gotten until you sit down and think about when a certain instance happened, when you think back to all of those memories you’ve created with him.
You keep thinking that ‘that one thing’ happened at least a week ago, or longer, but then you keep realizing that actually .. it’s only been two or three days.
After this happens over and over again, you realize ...
And so, you stop trying to quantify these moments and putting dates and times on them.

Before you, happy times were few

And no one special to talk to
Just a few friends

If I Give You Time
My hopes are soaring
The thoughts of loss are dying
You are the only one on my moind
And you will love me
