The sun and the blue sky
Reached out and embraced me
Insulating me from people and
Activities which surrounded me
Walking I through streets with
Thoughts that weren’t mine,
Imagining if two places I could
Be a same time when I’m nowhere.
I was fixed up and merged with
The blurred background of the
Rest of my past knowledge that
Into nothingness had gone
In my moment of panic.
Not the kind of world I’d dreamed
Of in my wildest dream.
I was up the mid-stream and didn’t
Know the way to shore.
Empty life filled with fear and nothingness.
But the unseen hands of God guided me to land.

Insulating me from people and
Activities which surrounded me
Walking

Hopes raised every month
Dreams of a life still not there
by Jim Ross

I couldn't see down the road of life
I couldn't see the pitfalls
Or where
