Emptiness, void, no signs of life
Barren, space, unfulfilled, despair
Hopes raised every month
Dreams of a life still not there
Envy, jealousy, resentment, shame
Yearning, see them daily, sadness
A day late, heart leaps, rejoice
Test, anticipation, hope, images
But no there is no sign of life
No egg fertilized to develop inside
No pregnant bump to rest my hands
No feel of movement inside my womb
A new life is missing
