Crimson candles
And then, in righteousness
The Day comes, quite a surprise
Lovers in their embrace, forget to… now
The river stops and stares in despair
And the moon in fear jumps over the cow
In a frantic race to the barn
The heavens unroll the glittering spear
Do you war against the air?
Do the world’s mountains vomit brimstone red
for the blood… shed in its care?
And then, in righteousness
The brown dust chokes in its throat
the cries of criers too afraid to die
The wine is bitter, its vine… old rope
that twists and turns the stomach of sky
bloated with the evil of pride
Earth quakes from the weight of its inequity
and aches to release the vile
of its darkness to rip and tear vengeance
on foundations of the guile
And then, in righteousness
The angels of mysteries
reveal the golden seven of their crown
The jackal laughs hilariously
What woman now revealed as that clown
whores no more in its wedding dress?
Crimson candles light up the raging sky
Do you thrash even the sea?
Yet, men hide in their crevices and caves
rather than acknowledge thee
And then, in righteousness
The tower melts in its crass
abomination of desolation
For in the brightness of His coming
no evil can stay His proposition
or the seven suns of His light
Crimson candles beget the morning light
Seven stars will pave the way
Lovers will embrace/lions join lambs
in mountain waters to play
And then, in righteousness
Rivers will wave under the moon
