A fantasy best ever Christmas album

Christmas is a time of year for people to reflect and be thankful for what they have and to listen to music they dust off and listen to only once a year. A list that would make up a fantasy “best ever” Christmas album would make the choices difficult to filter. The album would have to include the best of the best songs and the artist that sang the song so perfectly that no one else could possibly top it.

A Fantasy Best Ever Christmas Album would include:

Santa Claus is coming to Town” performed by Bruce Springsteen- The most fun version of this old song ever made. Springsteen rocks out his audience to a very upbeat version of a child’s favorite Christmas songs.

Step into Christmas” performed by Elton John- Feet start hopping when Elton sings this original Christmas song. As always, Elton John delivers a fun danceable song, this one specially written for the Christmas season.

Silver Bells” performed by Kate Smith- This is a good old fashioned Christmas song that brings on the feeling of an old fashioned Christmas in the city. Christmas celebrations would not be the same without this version of “Silver Bells”.

If Every Day was Like Christmastime” performed by Elvis Presley- The feeling conveyed in this song can be felt in the hearts of people around the world on Christmas day. If every day were like Christmas, it would definitely be a wonderful world. This is a classic that must be on any Fantasy Christmas Album created.

Away in a Manger” performed by Nat King Cole- This peaceful Christmas carol is a classic by Nat King Cole that conveys exactly what Christmas is really about.

Frosty the Snowman” performed by Jimmy Durante- This classic children’s Christmas song completes the Christmas season and reminds adults of younger days, playing in the snow.

Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth” performed by David Bowie and Bing Crosby- An unlikely mix of Crosby and Bowie make one of the most beautiful mixes of two beloved Christmas carols ever created.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” performed by Gene Autry- Another children’s Christmas classic that cannot be overlooked in the Fantasy Best Ever Christmas Album. Classics are not always the biggest hits, but Christmas classics remain in the heart forever.

Do You Hear what I Hear?” performed by Bing Crosby- The message of Christmas spreads far and wide from little lamb
