When doing business in Saudi Arabia it is important that managers realize the Saudis religious needs. In Saudi Arabia it will not be uncommon for them to get up to go pray in the middle of a meeting. As discussed above, Saudis pray five times a day. It is important for managers to be on time to all meetings going according to the meeting times and with the Saudis prayers.

It is important for managers to make appointments for a particular time of day rather than precise hours, which can be hard because not all prayers are at the same time throughout the year. Managers should check the times of prayers in the local paper to ensure that those times are good and will not coincide with prayer times. (www.executiveplanet.com)
