My tears soak the paper I pen
choking on my words intermittently
smudged ink dragged across the paper
drowning in tears of sorrow and grief
grey and black shades my world
a puppet with no puppeteer
pain fills the chambers of my heart
throbbing veins freezing my body numb.
Returning to my chair
I lift my hand to finish what I write
and put on the last light of day
to see your reflection shining
through a mirror of innocence
gazing and thinking, why you?
while everyone else is here
this grief is my Achilles heel
which no parent should suffer.

Poetry: Sorrow
I'm no longer me
It's like I've conformed into someone you would like me to be.
Or was I really happier before
Was it the weed?
Or
THE WIND OF SORROWS
Who will hear
the turbulent whispers
of the wind of sorrows
when all have scattered
each rushing for shelter
Sorrow Death and Grieving
A leaf and flower petal
Went floating in the breeze
A tiny little feather
Joined them in the trees
A
A hidden figure hides his face
People's gazes giving chase
His head is hung in deepest sorrow
It's there today and tomorrow
It
America's Hero
I knew that you would answer
Once you heard the call
Never did I imagine
That the towers, they would fall
