The amber and lemony hues of sunset
Majestically expand  the western sky
With gurgling sweeps of foamy white waters
Caressing the beach in upward tide
Sitting in awe of of the crashing waves
Hypnotized by it's whooshing bellows
The gentle breezes' whirring embrace
An ocean experience serene and mellow
Toes dig softly into moistened sand
Fostered in the ambiance; inner peace
For such a repose of glory so grand
Has quelled all tension, once more released
The ascending tide envelops me softly
As the sun fades in glorious farewell
This ocean experience tranquil and lofty
Has lifted me up in it's spiritual swell
The ocean; my sanctuary of healing
Where the sound of seagulls in the salty air
Yield a placidity, and calming feeling
Reminding me again why I tarry there
